We’ve been listening to your feedback, and we’re making changes to keep things fair, fun, and more exciting than ever.

We know that likes are where the magic happens , let’s be real, there’s no better feeling than hitting a million likes in a Lamborghini, right? 🎁💥

✨ Partner tiers 1–7 will stay based on likes only, just as you love them. We’ve increased the like requirements to reflect how active and engaged the community has become. We’re also going to keep up with the like multipliers so that these tiers are achievable… but they may take more than a single gift to get there.

💚 We will introduce a brand-new Emerald Camera, designed for the top 5% of broadcasters on younow. The Emerald Cameras will have an earnings requirement, and also will have much, much larger rewards for broadcasters who go above and beyond. We will also be moving the higher revenue share on subscription tiers to the Emerald Camera tiers from Partner Tier 7.

What this means for you:

If you’re in tier 7 today and the earnings requirement was out of reach for you, you can almost certainly stay in tier 7!
If you’re a top earner already on the platform, you’re going to get more rewards. A lot more rewards.

Why are we doing this?

We get it – likes are fun, and most of you aren’t here for the money. So we’re keeping it fun for the vast majority of our streamers who do not rely on our platform to pay their bills.
For those of you who are here for both fun and money, we’re making it a lot easier for you all to stand out and attract new fans.
With two different groups of broadcasters, we can also have events and contests that better align with what each group wants.

Are there other changes?

As noted above, we are going to be giving a lot more rewards to Emerald 1-3. We are not planning on any substantial changes to rewards for Partner Tiers 1-7.
For partners, you’ll have rollover likes if you hit Tier 5 in a month, which means averaging 500 bars in gifts given to you per day at our current like multiples, which we are planning on maintaining. This is because a lot of people maintain their star status without broadcasting much, and this isn’t fair to the people who are putting a lot of time and energy into the platform – your star status should be a signal to other users about how active you are. There is no change to producer rollover likes, nor are we planning any changes to the producer program right now.
We may adjust the thresholds each month for each Partner tier and Emerald tier, but we will make any announcement about changing the likes threshold by the 5th of each month, and we are not planning on any major changes right now. This would be similar to how we adjust the requirements for the Partner Marathon every 2-3 months.

We also owe you all an apology. We messed up when we announced the earnings requirement for Partner tiers 1-7 on April 1. We were trying to accomplish the same goals, but it was the wrong way to do it. We’re sorry.
